One-time Code Sign in (AX-13723) - Users can now sign in with a one-time code. On the sign-in page, users can now click on "Send me a code to sign in with", enter their already verified email or mobile number and a one-time code will be sent to them. Users can then enter that code on the next page and they will be signed in. This is aimed at helping users who log in infrequently, by not forcing them to set a password. Please note that users must already be signed up with a global account for the one-time code to work.

Alternate Account Detection (AX-13824) - To help reduce user sign-in errors, the system will let the user know that an account was found under a different sign-in method if the user tries to sign in with the wrong method but the same email address. For example, a user who signed up with their email and password now tries to connect with Google. To further reduce common errors, the new sign-up form will also sign in an existing user if they attempt to sign up again with the same email and password combination.

AX-13722 - We have added the password validation checks on the page where users can set a new password if they have forgotten their original one.

AX-13743 - We have updated the email verification screen to make it more clear to new users that they need to check their email for a verification link in order to complete the signup process.

AX-13798 - We have changed the order of options around on the global login signup page to bring the most common option, email, to the top. We have also changed the buttons' text from "Connect with" to "Sign up with" for better clarity.

AX-13822 - Although this rarely happens, for users signing in or signing up, we have added a warning to check their junk folder if they cannot find their verification email.

AX-13690 - An issue has been resolved where occasionally students attempting to sign up were getting the error "User cannot be confirmed. Current status is CONFIRMED"

AX-13304 - An issue has been resolved where on login to a subdomain, users were taken to the My Account screen rather than the aXcelerate admin portal home page.

AX-12564 - An issue has been resolved where “created by” field on Add/Update Note was editable.

AX-13281 - An issue has been resolved where contacts would not display payment plans when Ezypay returned an invalid subscription.

AX-13491 - An issue has been resolved where Learners could rarely create duplicate Online Assessment attempts, which would prevent the creation of new attempts.

AX-13500 - An issue has been resolved where uploading a non-image file to the image library would cause an error.

AX-13510 - An issue has been resolved where finance items invoices that were linked to an enrolment would not appear under the Payments section for that enrolment in the Learner Portal.

AX-13576 - An issue has been resolved where auto-marked Online Assessments would occasionally require manual marking.

AX-13583 - An issue has been resolved where the incorrect capacity numbers for Workshops bookings were displayed for Timetabled Workshop type.

AX-13587 - An issue has been resolved where online assessments in the dashboard assessment widget would display submission dates in UTC.

AX-13601 - We have removed deprecated system settings related to the old Learner Portal such as Student Portal Custom Menu Link, Learner Portal AVETMISS details and Learner Portal Address Fields required. We have also enabled Global Custom Fields, and Class Matrix Workshop Enrolment View for everyone, and removed them from system settings. The Default Partner Certificate Fee GST setting is now only visible if the ‘Partners’ flag is enabled. Assessment Types has been removed from system settings, as it is already accessible via the Assessment Menu item.

AX-13626 - An issue has been resolved where the New Unit button would not appear on the Qualification Update page when the Qualification has no units.

AX-13664 - We have fixed it so that sharded clients can now also enjoy unlimited rows on queued reports.

AX-13720 - The RAPT outcome 105 - Not yet started will now be correctly converted to the national outcome 85 - Not yet started when reporting as National (NCVER) format.

AX-13748 - An issue has been resolved where completed Online Assessment results were not viewable in the Learner Portal due to Learning Plan rules.

Advanced HTML Support in Templates

We now have support for full HTML in our templates. Users who select "Advance HTML mode" will be able to specify head, meta and body tags. This will enable more complex and advanced email template styling and formatting options.

 Online Assessment Template & Workflow Improvements

We have added new online assessment template fields and updated the automated task system to support more information to be emailed to assessors or students when triggered via assessment submission or completion events. The additional templates that have been added are as follows:

• Attempt Number: This will show the attempt number of the attempt that triggered the template. If this is used in a multirow class enrolment template, it will show the latest attempt.
• Assessment Task Name: The name of the Assessment Task.
• Assessment Instance Name: This will show the name of the Assessment Instance. This is currently available as 'Assessment Name' but has been updated due to the addition of Assessment Task Name.
• Assessment Attempt Assessor: The assessor who marked this attempt (if applicable). This will be blank if the assessor is the same as the student.
• Assessment Mark URL: The URL that an administrator would use to mark the assessment.
• Student Assessment Result View URL: The URL that a learner would use to view the results of the assessment.

AX-11842 - Learning plans now support rolling enrolments. Clients using learning plans can now choose to enrol a student in a different module to start. For example, in a learning plan with 10 modules, if a student is enrolled to start at module 4, they will complete 4-10 and then 1-3.

AX-12131 - Assessments in the Assessment Management page are now loaded as the user scrolls, rather than all at once, leading to significant page performance improvements.

AX-13107 - We have updated the Study Reason dropdown to be a searchable dropdown. This also resolves an issue with values from multiple states displaying simultaneously in some older browsers.

AX-13137 - The ability to include Stream Name on the Certificate Validation page has been added. This is controlled by the 'Display Stream on Certificate Validator' setting that can be set in the Update Qualification page.

AX-13172 - Some improvements have been made to the Units table on the Class Enrolment page to make the information easier to read and improve the usability of linking Workshops and deleting Unit enrolments.

AX-13214 - We have updated the merge contact feature to allow administrators to specifically choose which Global Accounts to keep when merging users. This also allows users to have more than one Global Account linked to their aXcelerate account.

AX-13215 - There will now be a system contact note added whenever a Global Account is linked or unlinked from a contact's user record. If an email account is unlinked for a user record, the email address will receive a notification of the unlinking. This is a security measure to alert the original Global Account user if their access is removed.

AX-13383 - Country of Birth will now display under VET Related Details on the Contact View page for all users.

AX-13387 - The number of Units a student is enrolled in will now appear on the Contact View page when viewing the list of Units related to a Class enrolment.

AX-13405 - A new field has been added to the Unit Enrolments - Warehoused report that shows the Maximum Claim value of a unit under a contract. This value presumes the unit will be competent so may be useful for forecasting. Please note that loading is not calculated.

AX-13461 - The ability to search for Organisations by Organisation ID has been added to the Organisations page.

AX-13526 - A new setting has been added to the Learner Portal tab of the System Settings page to 'Allow Learners to login to the Learner App'. This setting is enabled by default but can be disabled to prevent Learners from accessing the aXcelerate Learner App.

AX-13170 - The linked Qualification and name can now be changed when duplicating a Learning Plan. Any Unit linkings associated with an Element will be removed if that Unit is not present in the new Qualification.

AX-13187 - Organisation Custom Fields are now available. These fields will be displayed on the Organisation View page and are available as Display Fields and Filters in Course Booking, Transaction & Invoice related Warehoused Reports.

AX-13252 - We have increased the Images Library file size limit to 2MB.

AX-13358 - An 'Optional ID' has been added as a filter to the Invoice and Credit Note Search.

AX-13373 - More advanced editing options are now available when adding Assessment Notes.

AX-12962 - We have improved the error messaging when a user tries to delete a System User who is linked to essential data.

AX-13093 - The Enrolment Status Qualifier will now display next to the Status of a Class Enrolment on the Contact View page.

AX-13099 - The size of the Welcome Message in the Learner Portal now adjusts dynamically.

AX-13105 - We have added a new Core System Setting for clients to be able to set both their Organisation Trading Name and Organisation Legal Name. The legal name will be used in AVETMISS reports. The trading name will be used in most other situations, including what appears for logged in users under the "My Account" area. Both of these fields will be available in templates. At the time of release, both of these values will be set to the current organisation name.

AX-13154 - The Unit List in the Learner Portal has been made scrollable to account for small screen sizes.

AX-13205 - Learners can now remove files they have uploaded from their submission before they save it when undertaking an Online Assessment.

AX-13218 - ABN Number has been added as a new Template field under the RTO related fields section.

AX-13230 - We have changed Portfolio Numbers to be an optional field when adding Portfolio items through the Learner Portal.

AX-13348 - The minimum number of items required in a Matching List has been reduced from three to two.

AX-13370 - Multi Short Answer questions in Online Assessments can now optionally contain only the new Checkboxes, instead of Response Areas.

AX-13394 - A new Learner Portal Setting 'Display Internal Units' has been added that controls whether Internal Units will be shown to Students in the Learner Portal.

AX-13010 - An issue has been resolved with the TCSI integration where deleting from aXcelerate will fail if the record is already deleted in TCSI. Now, if this situation is detected, the record will be successfully reset and unlinked in aXcelerate.

AX-12914 - An issue has been resolved where changes to contact fields were not being correctly logged in a contact note when updates occurred via HubSpot webhooks. Another issue has also been resolved where aXcelerate custom fields that have already been added as a HubSpot mapping would not correctly be disabled in the fields mapping UI.

AX-13029 - An issue has been resolved where HubSpot field mappings would appear duplicated in some accounts.

AX-13164 - An issue has been resolved where the date offset could be displayed as “NaN” in the Assessment Instance Schedule.

AX-13207 - An issue has been resolved that prevented students from submitting Online Assessments where an additional Multi Short Answer Response Area had been added to the final question.

AX-13220 - An issue has been resolved where equipment booking for the “Quick Add” workshop in the calendar does not work.

AX-13015 - We have improved the recover password API endpoint so that users attempting to log in with the new login experience can use an email or mobile search to determine how they last logged in. For example, users who connected with Google will get an email telling them they connected with google and which organisations they are connected with.

AX-13106 - In order to support the new login experience, we have implemented a new feature with templates that will allow administrators to create or activate users for an entire class or workshop of students. The new template fields [User Login Access Link] and [User Login Access Link Text] will either send students to a page to create their user account, or give them a sign in link with a reminder of how they sign in, for example, "Sign in with Google (students.email@gmail.com)" or "Sign in with your mobile number (+614******22)". To use this feature when sending out templates, check the "Create, activate and invite Users" checkbox, which will become available with the new login experience.

AX-13110 - We have improved the error message for users who attempt to signup for a global account with an existing mobile or email address. The message will encourage them to log in instead and provide a link if they have forgotten their password.

AX-13202 - As part of security enhancements for the New Login Experience, we have removed the ability for users to change their password via the API. This endpoint will still work for existing users prior to migration to the new global login.

AX-13151 - We have added a reminder popup for users who sign up with mobile numbers to use the full international format (eg +61xxxxxxxxx)

AX-11736 - Reports are now available for Learning Plans. Learning Plan-related fields have been added to the Classes and Class Enrolments reports, while a separate Learning Module Enrolments report has been created.

AX-13097 - In Learning Plans, when the “This Element is complete when the Assessment is submitted” setting is enabled for an Assessment Learning Element, the Up Next widget will now be shown when submitting the assessment in the Learner Portal.

AX-12225 - Inactive qualifications are greyed out and cannot be selected when creating a new assessment plan.

AX-12236 - A new setting has been added to the Learner Portal system settings tab to ‘Require Emergency Contact Details’. If enabled, students are required to fill in valid emergency contact information when filling out their personal details in the Learner Portal and Learner App.

AX-12576 - More detailed categories have been added to the list of Learners shown when marking Online Assessments.

AX-12994 - A warning message has been added for when the 'Enrol all Learners booked on the selected E-Learning Activity into the Class' option is selected, to ensure that users do not select this option erroneously. 

AX-13004 - Scorm packages in the Learner Portal are now ordered by status in ‘in progress', ‘not started’, 'completed’ order, then by ‘start date’, then by names in alphabetical order.

AX-13061 - Additional filter options have been added to the Organisation Optional ID reporting field for 'Has a value' and 'Has no value'.

AX-13081 - We have updated the help article link on our monthly Billable Learners email.

AX-13089 - Contacts that are shown when Marking Workshop Attendance are now searchable by Contact ID to help distinguish Contacts that share the same name.

AX-13132 - Some visual improvements have been made to the primary list of Assessments in the Assessment Management interface.

AX-13134 - Navigating to an assessment instance from the Class Matrix or an Assessment Enrolment will now direct the user to the Online Assessment Management page.

AX-13135 - Online Assessment Instances can now be activated and deactivated from the Assessment Management page.

AX-12436 - An issue has been resolved where Workshop Booking details fields were not populating correctly in a multi-row table under "studentEnrollment".

AX-12959 - An issue has been resolved where the creation date filter on Workshop Reports was not showing duplicated instances correctly.

AX-12987 - An issue has been resolved that removed some special characters from Online Assessment questions.

AX-13012 - An issue has been resolved where students sometimes are not able to login to the Learner Portal due to bad characters against their user/contact record

AX-13014 - An issue has been resolved where the “Sync Dates/Assessors” options do not show up when moving students from an accredited workshop.

AX-13017 - An issue has been resolved where adding an "Other Assessment" to a workshop type allows you to add multiple of the same assessment.

AX-13019 - Various issues with the ‘Prevent learners from viewing the elements of locked Modules’ Learning Plan setting have been resolved.

AX-13055 - An issue has been resolved where assessment date offsets were not being correctly applied to an assessment that was created from an accredited workshop where date offset defaults were specified against the workshop type and being overridden upon workshop instance creation.

AX-13063 - An issue has been resolved where Virtual Classroom Links were not being saved during Workshop Creation or Duplication.

AX-13078 -  An issue has been resolved that prevented Workshops attached to Learning Plan Classes from being displayed in the Learner Portal.

AX-13125 - An issue has been resolved where an assessment element in a Learning Plan did not get removed when the assessment is deleted

AX-13044 - As part of the new login experience, we will now have client branding on our login page. If the user navigates to your subdomain, the logo that will appear on the login form will be the logo you have set as your main system logo. This will also work for the signup page.

AX-12599 - An issue has been resolved where users logging in directly to the agent or client portal using the new login experience were getting redirected back to the portal even if a user record was not found.

AX-12746 - A new dashboard widget has been added for admin users to display the Billible Learners used by the account within the billing period. Access to this widget is available for users with the 'Master Settings' permission. For more information on Billable Learners and Licence Fees click here.

AX-12314 - A new Assessment Type setting has been added - 'Preserve Incorrect Responses'. This can be used with Build on Attempts to always preserve the student’s responses to the previous attempt when generating a new one, whether they were correct or not.

AX-12574 - The Build On Attempts Online Assessment setting will now only show incomplete questions to the Learners reattempting an assessment in the Learner Portal by default. Learners can adjust the filter to show all questions in the assessment instead or just those they got incorrect.

AX-12409 - An additional button to launch an assessment from the assessment overview in the Learner Portal has been added to make the navigation for Learners more clear. 

AX-12840 - More editing options are now available when editing the description of a section in an Online Assessment.

AX-12948 - We have updated the eCAF integration for those clients who enrol students under the age of 18. Previously, the system reported all under 18-year-olds to eCAF as requiring parental consent. Administrators can now select the under 18 status of their students on the enrolment status update screen. They have 2 options, which will then pass across when generating the eCAF from aXcelerate: Parental consent required, or Student classified as independent

AX-12956 - 'Key Student Status Date-Time' has been added as a display field to the Workshop Bookings report to show the time that a booking status was made for an enrolment.

AX-13016 - TCSI has advised that they will switch off the HEIMS CHESSN web service in August 2021. Going forward all CHESSNs will be allocated by TCSI. In line with this, we have removed our integration with this web service, which was formally used to allocate CHESSNs. Your client credentials for this web service have also been removed from our system as part of this update.

AX-13096 - The permissions required to book students into in-house workshops have been updated. Users now required 'Workshop - View' and 'Enrolment - Add' which aligns with public workshop enrolment permissions. Formerly 'Workshop - View' and 'Workshop - Add' permissions were required.

AX-13013 -  An issue has been resolved where the ‘Default Course Overview Tab’ Learner Portal setting did not apply to accredited workshops with a Learning Plan.

AX-12999 - An issue has been resolved where an Online Assessment attempt could occasionally appear to be finalised, despite not actually being finalised.

AX-12544 - An issue has been resolved where the USI connection was reset for linked client accounts when a new primary account was nominated.

AX-12793 - Certificate template border styles Groove, Ridge, Outset and Insert have been marked as deprecated as they are indistinguishable from the Solid option when using a black border. Existing certificates that use these border styles will continue to work as before. The certificate template interface has been standardised between portrait and landscape orientations to take advantage of wider screens.

AX-12941 - An issue has been resolved where the Bulk Update Assessment Details tool was not taking into account daylight savings offsets when saving dates.

AX-12970 - An issue has been resolved where deactivating a custom field that has already been mapped to a HubSpot property will prevent subsequent mappings from correctly displaying on the Contacts field mapping interface.

AX-13047 - An issue has been resolved that was occasionally causing errors when trying to access the Canvas page to import Canvas Courses.

AX-12986 - Users are now able to create both an account linked to an email and a Google-linked account with the same email.

AX-12906 - We have improved the new Applications Register (found in System Settings -> Web & Other Integrations) so that apps assigned to client accounts can only be used by users within their account. 

AX-12951 - An issue has been resolved where a user who signed up for a new global login account was being returned to the signup page if they entered an incorrect password at the last step.

AX-12887 - An issue has been resolved where users were not able to update the mobile number linked to their Global User Account.

AX-12996 - We have Improved the new account signup page to automatically format Australian mobile numbers to the proper international format required by the form.

AX-12873 - We have improved the error message if a user clicks on an invite link a second time.

AX-12547 - A new Learning Element setting has been added for Online Assessments that allows submitted assessments to count as Completed towards Module and Unit completion and allows access to any Elements that have that Element as a prerequisite.

AX-12703 - A new Learning Element type has been added - Divider. This can be used to visually separate Learning Elements within a Module.

AX-12702 - A new setting is available for Heading Elements in a Learning Plan to 'Create a custom Heading'. This disables the use of the typical Heading and Subline format and allows for more extensive editing options.

AX-12148 - A message is now shown in the authoring interface to explain why prerequisites cannot be added to a Learning Element.

AX-12785 - The course/enrolments endpoint now allows users to have better control over the number of records returned by using the new parameters 'limit' and 'offset'. 'Limit' will determine the number of results returned while 'offset' will set a number of the first values returned to be ignored. In the following release (August 11th) this endpoint will be changed to only return 500 records by default. For API calls that need to return more than 500 results, the limit parameter will need to be updated to define the number of records needed.

AX-12805 - We have added the ability for learners to view recent assessment feedback in the assessment overview section in the Learner Portal.

AX-12806 - The 'Hide previous attempt's feedback' setting is now available for all assessment types.

AX-12896 - Optional ID is now available against Organisations and can be used in organisation reports as a filter and display field. 

AX-12969 - The account renewal date is now displayed in the account statistics tab of the system settings.

AX-12990 - Contact custom fields have now been added to the "Invoice line Items" and "Credit Note Line Items" Warehoused reports.

AX-12886 - An issue has been resolved where unit names would sometimes display '&' symbols incorrectly in the qualifications area.

AX-12605 - An issue has been resolved where the Payment Plan Amount Total template field was not populating for all students when generating the template against the class matrix.

AX-12731 - An issue has been resolved where cancelled workshops were still displayed in the Learner Portal calendar.

AX-12828 - An issue has been resolved where adding multiple files to an organisation note could cause the submit button to be hidden.

AX-12829 - An issue has been resolved where the link to the organisation details page in the Contact Note section on the Contact View page was not working correctly.

AX-12882 - An issue has been resolved where warnings were incorrectly showing on the class enrolment page when the enrolment was automatically completed on the same day that the enrolment commenced and had a certificate issued.

AX-11922 - Users can now update Learning Plan enrolments for a class in bulk. The bulk actions available are cancelling and deleting Module enrolments, locking and unlocking Module enrolments, and enrolling students into Modules.

AX-12175 - Clients using Learning Plans can now choose whether to include the learning plan when duplicating a class.

AX-8848 - A new 'Eway Rapid Add Surcharge' flag has been added which will cause surcharges to apply to payments made through the eWay Rapid Integration. Payments made via the WordPress plugin, Invoice Management area, public payment page, Learner Portal, and Token payments have been updated to add a surcharge if this setting is enabled AND if there is a surcharge set in the Web & Other Integrations tab of the system settings. Learner-facing UIs have also been updated to display surcharge details.

AX-12133 - When printing a Student Record in Online Assessments, the Assessment Summary can now also be appended.

AX-12535 - The Contact Select modal used for creating class enrolments has been updated to allow the creation of new contacts and for multiple contacts to be selected for enrolment.

AX-12774 - The Learner assessment declaration and signature styles in the Learner Portal have been updated to be Dark-Mode compatible.

aXcelerate’s login experience will be changing in July and all users will need to create a new ‘Global Account’. As part of these changes, the user creation and registration process will also be changing with aXcelerate no longer automatically generating and emailing passwords. Going forward, users will be invited to create their own accounts with their own passwords, or create their account using their Apple, Facebook, or Google accounts. These changes will also have an impact on our /user/ API endpoints and any clients with custom integrations will need to support these changes in their integration.

AX-12357 - We have created a new HubSpot sync tool for synchronizing individual fields between aXcelerate and HubSpot. Additionally, all configuration and import pages for the HubSpot integration have been combined into a single area, which is now only accessible via the Configure button in the HubSpot Integration section of the Web & Other Integrations tab of System Settings (previously these were accessible from the Marketing menu). AX-12518 - A new template field has been added for [Eway Receipt Number] which will work for templates for invoices that have been paid through eWay.

AX-12310 - Unit enrolments with NR outcomes will no longer be matched by the auto contract reconciliation tool.

AX-12571 - An issue has been resolved where names on assessment feedback & notes in the Learner Portal did not match the names displayed in the admin interface.

AX-12649 - Clients can now set whether E-Learning updates linked unit commencement or completion at the E-learning course level. Previously, this setting was only available at a system level.

AX-12682 - You are now able to provide a Version Number for Qualifications to help track the changes to the structure of a Qualification made by TGA.

AX-12722 - The ability for Learners to provide feedback through the Learner Portal can now be controlled via System Settings.

AX-12727 - A new multi-row template field has been added for [Organisation Key Contact] which will display the key contacts of the organisation linked to the recipient's contact profile.

AX-12776 - Some improvements have been made to the certificate validation page:

• Surname is now a mandatory field for privacy purposes
• Students with no surname will still be able to select the "No Surname" checkbox
• The validation result will now show the "Date of Completion" instead of "Date of Issuance"

AX-12795 - Assessment Types can now be changed against Assessments that are still saved as a Draft.

AX-12202 - Improvements have been made to the information recorded in a Student's finance records when issuing a refund for Ezypay or eWay.

AX-12843 - This is an important update for all clients using Single Sign-on (SSO). The contact details (name, email, optional ID) for your SSO users will no longer update on login. We found this was causing more problems for clients than it was solving. From now on, the SSO feature will use the name and email information from Active Directory (or your chosen Identity Provider) if it needs to initially provision the contact, however, the system will no longer lock down those fields or update them when the user logs in.

Active Directory SSO will still update user roles for those clients using group claims.

AX-9824 - Standalone (not linked to a class or workshop) E-Learning and Online Assessments can now be accessed from their own tabs on the Learner Portal dashboard. This change was made to support the removal of the Learning To Do and Assessment To Do tabs from the dashboard when enrolled in a class with a Learning Plan. 

AX-12716 - When authoring a Learning Plan, date scheduling rules for Plan Modules and Elements are now edited independently of the rest of the Plan. This is to prevent issues that could occur when the plan was auto-saved.

AX-12847 - An issue has been resolved where accessing a Learning Element by using the ‘Up Next’ tool in the Learner Portal could cause an error. This would only occur in Learning Plans attached to Accredited Workshops.

AX-12383 - An issue has been resolved where navigating to a Learning Plan Module in the Learner Portal could prevent the page from being refreshed.

AX-12809 - An issue has been resolved where very large Modules could cause visual issues when authoring a Plan.

AX-12275 - Learning Plans can now be removed from existing classes. This will remove the plan and any module enrolments for students in that plan in the class. Enrolments in individual elements, such as E-Learning or assessments, will not be affected.

AX-12325 - Learning Module enrolments are now prevented from having an end date before the start date when updating from the Enrolment Status page.

AX-12539 - Unit dates in classes that are part of a Learning Plan will now not be changed during enrolment if the Learning Elements linked to the unit (and the Module that the elements are part of) do not have any scheduled dates.

AX-12531 - An issue has been resolved where scheduling dates against a Learning Element and not including a time would cause the time against any dates to be set to the time of enrolment, rather than the default 12 AM.

AX-12614 - An issue has been resolved with Learning Plans where adding a new element to an existing module was reverting completed students enrolled in that module to an in-progress state, even though they weren't enrolled in that new element.

AX-12513 - An issue has been resolved where booking students into an Accredited Workshop with a linked class that has a Learning Plan would not enrol the student into the Plan Modules. This also now applies when booking students via the API or through Online Enrolments.

AX-11975 - Online Assessment Related fields have been added to the Template Builder. These fields include: Due Date, Overview Available, Access Start Date, Access End Date, Assessment Type, Assessment Name, Assessors, Assessment Status, Assessment Mark, Submitted Date, Total Time Taken, Assessment Assessor Feedback, and Attempt history.

AX-9547 -You can now specify an authentication method for contacts enrolled into Moodle (such as 'SAML'). Currently, all contacts enrolled from aXcelerate are created in Moodle with the authentication method of 'aXcelerate'. If using another authentication method, those students will not be able to launch into Moodle from with aXcelerate's learner portal.

AX-12315 - When deactivating a Trainer User, if the Trainer is still active in the Trainers list, a message will show with a link to deactivate the Trainer. When deactivating a Trainer in the Trainers list, if the user is still active, a message will show with a link to deactivate the Trainer User.

AX-12316 - The finance view permission will also no longer be required for a user to access the finance summary page (group view, ledger view, outstanding items) against their own contact record. This applies only to their own contact page. All other contacts' finance summary, including those in their same organisation, will be unavailable without the finance view permission. For clients using the third-party providers feature, partners no longer need the finance view permission to review partner fee reports. We recommend removing this permission from partner roles. 

AX-12180 -  Learning Plan Modules can now be deleted when authoring a Learning Plan in Live Edit mode. All Enrolments and Elements for a Module must be removed before the Module can be deleted.

AX-12138 - A cancelled enrolment linked to a Learning Plan will be ignored when checking for prerequisite or other access rules set against the plan.

AX-11907 - This is a very important improvement for any clients using automatic E-Learning commencements and Online Assessments. The setting to enable E-learning to automatically update unit commencement statuses will now apply to online assessments as well. Previously, this setting only applied to online assessments that were commenced by students in the student portal.

As part of this improvement, we have also added a new workflow assessment trigger type: “Assessment Commencement”. This will enable users to set up automated tasks that trigger upon online assessment commencements. Note that this will only trigger upon the student's first commencement for any online assessment enrolment.

AX-12056 - A new Fee Exemption/Concession Type Identifier “A - Asylum Seeker (without Pensioner, Health Care, Veteran’s Gold Card)”, and a new Fee Waiver Code “C - Construction Industry Skill Sets“ have been added for Victorian enrolments. The description for the Victorian outcome 79 has also been updated as follows: “Waiting employer signoff or a practical placement”. Please see the latest documentation from Victoria for the full update usage explanation of these codes.

AX-12071 - On the User Management page, checking the box for the Permission Group will now enable/disable all permissions within that group.

AX-12077 - The Trainer Competencies section on a contact record will now show when a trainer is inactive.

AX-12083 - We have exposed the TCSI student citizenship values on the contact view page for any linked contact. Clicking the "TCSI" update button next to the citizenship value will open a popup showing all current citizenship records for this student stored in TCSI. This form will also allow user to update the effective from dates of those records.

AX-12084 - For VET student loan clients, we have added more visibility to view the data stored in TCSI. This view is an advanced view and will display all data stored in TCSI for that element in a popup window. It is available everywhere TCSI can be updated by clicking the search icon.

AX-12107 - Lists are now able to be added to student declarations for online assessments.

AX-12136 - We have improved the remission steps to be more in line with TCSI. No longer will users need to create a HEPCAT revision report. Remissions in TCSI are done by changing a simple dropdown menu against the relevant unit of study enrolment.

We have also added remission code 6 for “Remission under an approved tuition assurance arrangement”, and unit of study completion status code 6 “Withdrew due to medical reasons”

And further, Language spoken at home code (E348) will report a “9999” when data is missing, rather than the currently reported missing value.

AX-12165 - Feedback from students that is submitted via the Learner Portal will now be recorded in a contact note against the student.

AX-9506 - The Learner Portal Welcome Message now supports embedding images and videos.

AX-10566 - We have improved the consistency of assigning the correct note type when default templates are emailed automatically by the system. This includes, but is not limited to, course booking templates, user notifications, and sending class surveys.

AX-11041 - We have added the ability to update the Delivery Mode against selected units from the Bulk Set Outcomes page.

AX-11290 - In the contact notes area, we have improved what is considered a "system note" that cannot be edited or deleted. Previously, this was only determined by the special "System Generated Note" type. Now this will also include notes that were added without an explicit user (Added by "System") and notes that were added automatically to provide an audit of actions done, such as sending a template or merge document. This change will not affect the 'contact notes by users' report.

AX-11725 - We have been working on some performance improvements to make aXcelerate more performant. In this release, we improved the E-Learning enrollees list page.

AX-11799 - We have implemented the ability to disable particular invoices to not be automatically exported. This is done by editing an invoice and disabling the Auto Export setting.

AX-11816 - The resource library now allows uploads of files up to 500MB and accepts more file types.

AX-11819 - "External Platform Course ID" has been added to E-learning reports in the report builder. This will be relevant to integrations such as Moodle and Canvas. It displays the related course ID in the external system for each aXcelerate course that relies on the integration.

AX-11895 - The Add New Elearning links in the Elearning Menu have been removed.

AX-11955 - We have updated the ‘Learner Portal: Show Legacy (Standard) Assessments’ system flag to work in the new learner portal.

AX-11978 - Standard assessments will now follow the unit order when displayed in the Learner Portal.

AX-11820 - In preparation for our migration to a more secure and convenient user authentication system, some areas of the system that displayed or reported usernames will now use the contact's name instead. This includes but is not limited to user lists, notifications, alerts, and change notes.

AX-11928 - If the SMS provider is set as "clicksend.com", SMS messages will be converted to HTML format automatically.

AX-11938 - A new feature has been developed that allows admin users to locate missing legacy assessment files from the file system. The missing files were a symptom of a previous bug where non-standard characters were included in the file name.

AX-11575 - The Partner Fee Report has been updated to have Location and Course Dates fields. There is also now an option to group fees by course when viewing the results of a specific Partner organisation.

AX-11817 - We have added the ability for users to update VFN/VSL ID from the Contact Update page.

AX-11818 - Note fields in the System Settings will now be displayed as 'Recorded' and not be displayed as a password field showing the number of characters.

AX-11923 - Under the Finance Details of a student's enrolment, some changes have been made to the display when an invoice has not yet been generated within a payment plan. 'Not issued' will be displayed instead of the invoice icon, the invoice date column will show when the invoice is to be issued, and the due date will be blank until it has been issued.

AX-11924 - Multiple files can now be attached to emails sent for class enrolments (Class Communication > Email / SMS).

AX-11870 - An issue was resolved that was preventing adding a new item to a custom payment plan after all the tuition fees had been invoiced.

AX-11836 -Fixed an issue with ‘Fill in the blank’ assessments that caused many questions to have conflicting results. This resulted from either a student or assessor creating an answer with multiple spaces within it. As a result, answers to ‘Fill in the blank’ questions will now automatically ignore repeated spaces. (Note - This will not impact existing assessment responses)

AX-11515 - An issue has been resolved where Client Fees - Other was still being reported under the 2020 rule to report blank for non-government funded training when running AVETMISS reports in the Victorian 2021 format.

AX-11544 - An issue has been resolved where removing an organisation with at least two levels of children organisations would cause the organisations in the level immediately below to be removed from the hierarchy.

AX-11692 - An issue has been resolved where students undertaking Online Assessments could have outdated personal details if their information was recently updated in aXcelerate.

AX-11695 - An issue has been resolved where student assessment attempts would sometimes show an incorrect outcome in the ‘class’ area.

AX-11716 - A typo in the workflow engine was corrected where ‘Reports’ were referred to as ‘NEW Reports’

AX-11778 - An issue has been resolved where filtering by Agent/Organisation was not responsive when exporting or searching for data in the agent commissions view.

AX-11795 - An issue has been resolved where filtering Quality Tasks by the Completed status was not showing the correct results.

AX-11851 - An issue has been resolved where merging two Trainer contacts are assigned to a Partner organisation was causing an error.

AX-11927 - An issue has been resolved where images would not be shown when printing or marking an assessment.

AX-11773 - The contact organisation and email will now be displayed when selecting contacts in the Marketing section of a user task. A link to add a new contact from this area has also been added.

AX-11775 - We have added a new filter to the user tasks dashboard widget. Users can now filter the tasks by the due date and the assigned user.

AX-11786 - A 'New Task' option has been added to the User Tasks menu to quickly open the form to create a new task.

AX-11839 - We will now generate QR codes for certificates utilising an internal aXcelerate service to prevent potential interruptions that have recently been experienced by the external service Zxing being offline.

AX-11843 - The Unit Number field on the /contact/:contactID endpoint has had the max character limit increased from 20 to 30.

AX-11718 - Contact Domains are now officially supported via the API for POST, PUSH and GET requests.

AX-11287 - An intermittent issue has been resolved when two assessment attempts were submitted at the same time. Preventative measures have been put in place to stop problems from occurring when this happens.

AX-11591 - An issue has been fixed where refreshing the page would reset attempts taken on questions in assessments with Multiple Item Attempts enabled.

AX-11633 - An issue has been resolved where the footer of PDF templates with more than one page were were not visible in edit or preview mode.

AX-11692 - An intermittent issue has been resolved where the responder name of the student in their online assessment doesn't match their aXcelerate contact profile.

AX-11728 - An issue has been resolved that was causing an error when trying to delete a workflow task category.

AX-11779 - An issue that prevented learners from using commas in Fill in the Blank assessment questions has been fixed.

AX-11795 - An issue has been resolved where the Quality Tasks Widget was not filtering Completed Tasks properly.

AX-11798 - An issue where classes with Lessons would display an incorrect number of Assessments and E-Learning has been fixed.

AX-11824 - An issue has been resolved where Multi Short Answer questions had inconsistent requirements to allow the save button to be unlocked.

AX-11835 - An issue has been resolved where calling a report that included the 'Updated by User/Contact' field/column via the API would result in a 'cannot cast a string to datetime' error.

AX-11868 - We have fixed an issue that was preventing the “Fee Exemption/Concession Type” field from being correctly set when confirming a tentative class enrolment.

AX-11875 - An issue has been fixed where the Launch Completed E-Learning setting for the Learner Portal would allow access to E-Learning outside of the access dates.
