    Good Morning All,

As always, thanks for taking the time to add to our Ideas Forum.

We have performed an initial investigation into the standard ways for protecting a PDF and found that the simplest would be the ability to add a password for editing on creation. That being said, we also discovered there are a multitude of unlocking tools online and this often can be bypassed by simply renaming or zipping the file.

With that being the case its still our view that using our QR code is still the best way to add a level of verification to any certificate generated as it creates a secure link which can't be edited.

We have also performed an initial investigation into the .lkd format however it appears to be a proprietary format that is required to run through Pioneer OEL Screensaver systems to lock/unlock which at the current time we don't believe to be a good fit for the system.

As always if there is greater interest in additional protection for PDF's or an issue being caused by not having additional functionality we will investigate further.

    Any questions let me know.

Hi aXcelerate, are there any plans to make the certificates locked pdf (with lkd extension)?

It would greatly assist RTO's to provide secure certification and reduce risk of the certificate being edited.

    Thanks
