    Hi Ash and James,

Thank you for providing this extra insight and feedback, it's really valuable to understand your context as to why this would be so important for you. Unfortunately I don't have a big update for you at this time since Mark last responded, but we would like to make these performance improvements to our Learning Plans feature this year to enable us to add new beneficial tools/settings. I will keep these examples in mind when we are further down the track to ensure your use cases are considered.

I agree, Learning Plans need more flexibility for us to customise the flow. I know I've responded to other posts requesting this and I think it would be a very beneficial improvement.

I also agree, this would be a great addition to learning plans, quite often courses run simultaneously.

    Hi All

I've just spoken with our engineering team regarding this feedback, as I agree, it would be a suitable addition to the Learning Plan feature. Learning Plans are already quite a performance intensive feature, due to the complex rules and calculations that need to be carried out.

Unfortunately, in order to ensure the stability of the feature (and system more broadly), there are a number of defensive improvements we need to make to Learning Plans performance before we can add any more rule options.

I will keep you posted on the status as we progress these.

    Thanks
    Mark

any updates to this? Would be really great to see the capacity to lock all modules until tsay the first module is completed. With the changes for RTO standards coming into effect on 1 July 2025, the ability to lock the entire learning plan excpet for the first module would be a game changer, allowing us to assess LLN and DL prior to allowing a student access to the qualification learning content.

Our goal is to provide a pre-training reveiw module in all learninhg plans and have this required to be complete and marked as satisfactory beofre a learner can proceed, whilst still allowing a student flexibility to particpate with the other modules flexibly.

At present we would need to either have 2 separate learning plans, one for pre-training review and the other for the qualification, constituting 2 enrolments and requiring manual data entry/enrolment.

    Hi Team,
This is something we are really keen on as well.
We have a lot of short courses that have prerequisites as part of them. Ie, Day 1 needs to be completed and marked before Day 6. We want the ability to keep Day 6 locked until Day 1 is completed and marked. But still have the flexibility of Days 2-5 as we move around training due to scheduling etc.
We also don't want it in one module, as it makes it too big for the student.

Also if we could have a LLN learning plan - we would be able to make it the prereq for all courses and therefore make sure we were always capturing LLN data without having students repeat it every course.

Looks like this request hgas gone cold. Is aXcelkerate listening to the users of the platform?

We need a away to lock all modules in a learning plan until a specific module is complete. i.e ensuring pre-requisite units of compteency are completed before any further subjects can be completed.

    Is this being actioned?
