A suggestion for the contact search bar is that it can search on preferred names as well and the drop down has more than 12 contacts.

  Hi all – thanks for the interest here!

  We're working on some improvements to the new navigation bar quick search, including being able to search using email and preferred names, plus improved visibility for contacts' DoBs and phone numbers in the quick search results.

  As with every feature, we need to balance performance, privacy, security, and usability. We're excited to see what you think of the upcoming changes!

  Can I also add on top of this, that searching by email address via the same contact search bar would be amazing instead of having to click "contacts" etc...

  Agreed, especially with searching via email in this field.

  In addtiion to this, now that DoB is displayed when booking contacts onto a workshop, searching by DoB would also be helpful.

  Has any of these been taken in consideration?

  Search contact directly by Phone number OR email OR DOB would be a great addition - instead of having to click into Contact> Search contact> ... too many steps...

  I totally agree with the suggestions above, it is more efficient for us in the Student Services team to search our students' aXcelerate profiles using their contact details as we sometimes encounter duplicates or students with the same names. I’m really looking forward to see this feature!
