Push notifications - trainer app

Hi Team

Would be great if 'push' notifcation functionality could be added to either the aXcelerate trainer app or the aXcelerate admin calendar.  This would help to enable reminders to trainers regarding upcomign sessions they have been scheduled for.

Particularly useful for trainers who are working for multiple RTOs and managing more then 1 schedule.

  I like this idea. We currently use email/sms workflows to send to trainers to remind them about an upcoming course.

  If I can add to this, if it is a grouped workshop, only receiving 1 reminder would be helpful. Currently, our trainers receive multiple emails/sms even though the workshops are grouped together.

  Thanks Adrian, great idea which we have explored with aXcelerate but unfortunately not really workable for us as we have too many trainers.

  Hi Stuart,

  We have the 1 workflow that sends to the trainer of that particular workshop. We have a lot of trainers so this is really beneficial. Hope this helps?

  Hi Matthew,

  This is really helpful thanks.  I did explore this with aXcelerate yesterday and was given the impression we would have to have a workflow for each trainer, which is why we disregarded it as not feasible...  I will follow this up with aXcelerate.

  ah - also i think its because we are not currenlty using an SMS provider, so for us it would need to be an email workflow - which might be why.   Thanks!

  This would be good, we currently use workflow to send reminders but it only works for the primary trainer assigned to the workshop and not alternative trainers assigned for complex dates.

  We'd also like to be able to send reminders on each date of the complex workshop to remind them to mark attendance if it is not done by a certain time after the start of the complex date. Hopefully, push notifications could work for this.
