aXcelerate should add the system maintanence messages to notify all admin and learners or give RTOs the access to add our own internal admin announcements, like the learner announcements
CompletedWe recently got a message that there will be system maintenance on 15th April that instructed us to notify our staff and learners.
Since aXcelerate can very easily add system-wide messages within the system I find it very confusing that they do not just add this information as a message into the system.
It would save all aXcelerate admins the onerous task of setting up a workflow or needing to send additional messaging out when aXcelerate can easily do this and save us all the stress.
Alternatively, we could have the option to add our own internal pop-up messaging within the admin portal, like we can add announcements to the learner portal.

Hi Pip and Belinda,
Thanks for the feedback!
An in-system message will be coming out shortly for the maintenance works.
Thanks again for the insight into how these messages are received and used within your business. We have updated our process for maintenance messages and we will be issuing both email and in-system messages together from now.
I hope you have a great long weekend!Comment actions -
Hi Brenden, thanks for the update. To clarify is the message for all roles (global), or just for administration again? I think Pip's idea was for a global message. I accessed one of my test learner logins but could not see the maintenance pop-up. Perhaps this is because I acknowledged it under my main account so I just wanted to check. Thanks :)

Hey Belinda, you're most welcome. The in-system messages are only visible to Admins and Trainers.
We recognise the important role that RTOs and Trainers play when it comes to engaging with their students. We also understand that each RTO will have its own processes and preferred methods for communicating with students.
Nonetheless, thanks again for the question and the feedback on how the messaging is currently being received and how it could be improved!
