If this is not already an option then it really should be since the USI is always unique.

    Hi Tracey,

Great news, this feature is already available as part of the aXcelerate WordPress Plugin.

You can see an example of this in action below:
    https://demowp.axcelerate.com.au/usi-validate-on-create-example/

This feature works on a per-enrolment form basis meaning you can have this set for your accredited forms, but disable it for non-accredited.

It's important to note that although this feature is very useful, it can also deter a lot of students from attempting to enrol. For example, students who have lost their USI, need to create one or are USI exempt.

To enable this, you will need access to your WordPress website.
Login to your WordPress website, and locate the aXcelerate Integrations Plugin > Enroller.

    1. Click the Update icon next to the config (enrolment form) you would like to edit
    2. Click the Settings tab
    3. Search for the setting New User USI Validate and change it to 'Yes'
    4. Click Save Config
    5. Click Save Changes
