Is it possible to request that the calendar categories can be re-ordered. Our most commonly used category is the Green colour, however the default when adding a new event in the calendar is Red (because it's first in the list). It would save us so many clicks if we could either re-arrange the order of the categories in the settings, OR enable us to select one of the colours as a default.

  You should be able to customise your Calendar colours using Training Categories. You can read more about those here:

  Hi Mark, We do also utilise the Training Categories to customise our calendar, which is great. 
  However I am referring to 'events' in the calendar which are not related to workshops/classes. So they need to be colour coded by the 'Calendar Categories' feature. I have had a quick look and calendar events can't be linked to training categories. 

  We use the Green colour as our most frequently used calendar category when allocating to an event, so every time we add an event we have to manually select the colour change because it defaults to Red. It's not difficult, just annoying and would increase our user experience to be able to set our own default or re-order list so that Green shows first (We use the same colour coding in other organisational systems, and unfortunately need to stick with Green).

  Sorry for misunderstanding, and thank you for clarifying. I'll continue to monitor the votes on this post and will pass the feedback along in the case that we make any changes to the calendar features.
