Assign Practice exams/questions in Learning Plan

Would be great if could assign a formative assessment in the learning plan that isn't linked to a competency. Like practice exams to see if after the lesson the student has understood the content without making a summative assessment.

  Apologies if I'm misunderstanding the request; wouldn't a Lesson Assessment Type be suitable for this?

  Hi Mark, I was under the impression that a Learning plan could not be published if the assessment was not mapped. So that would mean even if it is formative and not necessarily required for competency we would still need to map it to specific units. Is that no correct?

  Yep, that is correct... so you would need to map it to at least one unit. However, you could set the Lesson to optional, so that it is not required for completion. The unit/module should still automatically complete even if the optional element is skipped.
