Learner Portal created trigger
Completedwe really need a report field that can be used to show when students have created their LPortal. We would like a new email to be automatically sent to students once they create their Learner Portal - to do this we need to know when this LP has been created. Needs to show in LIVE reports.
This field could then be used to show students in a workshop / class who have not yet created a Learner Portal. I see many applications for this

Good morning everyone
Thank you for your input on this idea.
The team has completed development on this task, adding a new report field for the status of a Global Account in the 30 August 2023 Release.
Feel free to read the Release Notes for further information.

I 100% agree, we need a report that can tell us which students have not set up their learner portal global accounts. We could benefit from this as we use the online assessments for every course we run.
It is much better for the beginning of a class if the students have already created their login or time has to be spent getting this setup, which impacts training and assessment time. This is especially bad on weekend courses where there is contract trainers who are not as familiar with the system trying to troubleshoot students with the set up process.
We would need filters and display fields such as class start date to determine if students in upcoming workshop-linked classes have completed the set-up AND enrolment date so we can use the same report to identify external students that haven't yet set up their access.

Hi Cameron, if you are on the phone with a student you can identify if they have set up their global account by going to their contact page, clicking actions, and then Update User Record.

This will give you details of their global account status.
If they have confirmed it will give you a green tick and you can see the method they used, this example used Email to set it up, see how it has Email then a tick. If it was Google or Apple then it would say those instead.
If they haven't confirmed then it would say 'Invite Pending' and have a button for you to resend the invite.

What this idea is about is being able to see this at more than an individual student level because currently there is no class or workshop view, or report that can tell you a group of students account status, you can only see it contact by contact or by going to System Users which can show 1000's depending on how many students you have.

Hi Adrian,
We currently have a Report Filter called "Num Logins" which allows you to see which students have not created their Learner Portal login and potentially use Workflow to prompt or remind them.
This filter can be found in the Class Enrolments - Warehoused or Workshop Bookings - Warehouse report.
To use this effectively, the Num Logins should be set to equal to 0. This indicates the student has never logged into their Learner Portal because they had never set up their account.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tip Charissa, I did not know what this field meant and I have created a report using 'num login' = 0.
Whilst using a report is an improvement on viewing individual or system user screens, it would be easier to have a Student Portal View from the class to find out which students have / have not connected to their student portal.

Is it possible to add this view to the current view options?

Hi Everyone
We're in the process of reviewing this functionality.
It would be extremely useful to us if you could continue specifying the challenges that you're facing that you're hoping to solve with this solution.
Did Charissa's solution help solve some of those problems?
I understand the preference is to have the fields available in Live rather than just the Warehoused reports - would enabling these fields in the Live reports solve the remainder of your problems?
