More detailed short course attendance status displayed on student cards

At present there is one default status that shows on a student card for their attendance on a short course/workshop.  This is often not useful when it defaults to 'Did not attend' when this has only been marked once during the full workshop, but the student has attended other days,

It would be more beneficial if it could possibly have further details eg a second status column, or if not capable of this could we change the default to only show 'Did not attend' when this is the case for the full workshop for the student?

 

eg:

Attended to display as default when this has been selected for any dates during the workshop for this student.

If student DNA any days, still default to Attended.

Only display Did not attend if the student did not attend any days at all.

  Agreed.

  It would be good if it reflected the last status applied so that it more accurately reflects the current status.

  I am unable to vote, but again, I agree with this. Seeing 'did not attend' when they may have attended some of the time. We have to go into the short course looking at every date to see if a student has ever attended.

  Commenting again to bump this, I have students who attend all but 1 day of a workshop, but show as 'did not attend' which is frustrating honestly.
