Templates for contact notes

This is an awesome idea, we use file notes to keep track of funding application approvals, enrolment status etc.

We'd love to have templates that can be added based on a file note type.

Would also love to be able to pin/un-pin a note to the top of the list so these note types can be seen on the front page.

Thanks Pip! Yes, we are the same! Considering the template features in other areas of Axcelerate, it should be easy for them to implement this in contact notes. File note type and then drop down to select from relevant templates.

Your addition of pinning a note is a great idea! We would most definitely make of this concept!

Hello Letitia, our RTO uses templated contact notes too, especially for certificate verification, competency conversation, etc. so this is going to be super helpful.

I hope AXC will put this suggestion into consideration. :)

    Thanks Ish,

Yes it seems common sense and like it would be an easy addition, given that they have templates in other section of Axcelerate. After 10 months I don't have high hopes, but you never know!! Thanks for commenting support for the idea :)

Where can we go to see if there is progressing? A process such as this would remove a lot of unnecessary forms and checklists from our RTO. (Sorry, i'm a bit new to aXcelerate)

I think this suggestion would be a huge benefit to our company due to the repetitive nature of the contact notes our RTO uses.

    I would support this 100%

Has there been any update on this suggestion? We would also benefit from having contact note templates. Not for all note types, but there are some that would be VERY useful

    Hey everyone,

I have installed a Google Chrome extension called Magical (https://www.getmagical.com/) and it is fantastic for what you are trying to achieve. For example, I have a template for a note about a farm visit. When I type -farmvisit anywhere in the browser (including the notes section), a little window pops up which prompts me to fill out certain bits and pieces and then inserts the formatted text:

I use the free version. Hope it helps! :)

    Cheers,
    Michael

Just wanted to add another comment to reinforce that this feature would be extremely convenient. Copying and pasting note templates from other sources can be so tedious. Having a template system for contact notes built into aXcelerate would greatly improve productivity, and ensure consistency of notes left by staff. Thanks Michael for suggesting the workaround though, I wish I'd known of that before!
