Transfer online assessment results between instances
If we have created an online assessment. It would be nice to be able to transfer student results between the instances of that assessment when needed. I have found that sometimes if a student was not transferred correctly via the workshop/class they will end up in 2 instances of the 1 assessment (1 with results and 1 without). It would be great to be able to transfer results outside of the workshop/class environment to ensure all results are in the correct instances.

We would also like to be able to move assessment enrolments between workshops and linked classes.
We find if a student has had the assessment released, then they are moved, that the assessment enrolment is not moved and if they have commenced the assessment then we are left with assessments linked to classes in which they are no longer enrolled in.

I'd like to bump this again as recently we have been experiencing a lot of issues with aXcelerate and slowness in the online assessment area. Today we tried to transfer an enrolment and not all the assessments were transferred across. To fix this I must delete the initial class enrolment, transfer back into the class to pickup the missing assessments, delete the new class enrolment and then transfer again to move the assessments. If we had the ability to transfer an assessment enrolment between assessment instances instead of relying on transferring via the class it would make fixing these problems much easier.

In addition to the good idea presented, I'd like to second the comment that recently (22/02/2023 - and the preceding week) we have experienced issues apparently associated with the assessment engine. Issues include slowness or errors in Update Bulk Assessment Details, issues with Launching as a Learner, issues with data views for assessors, assessment attempts etc.
I have reported this but seems ongoing at the moment.

I agree with Belinda, the process to move assessments is so tricky that a lot of staff are overwhelmed by it and it takes ages to fix issues as you mentioned, it becomes a major pain.
If we had other options rather than the current way, it would be useful if there were one or 2 assessments missed that needed to be transferred rather than having to transfer the whole enrolment multiple times.

We are still experiencing multiple issues that could have easily been solved if we could transfer assessment instances between classes. We have the same problem with transfers not being completed fully and students starting some assessments then cancelling their booking but then reenrolling into another course via our website and now we can't move their assessments to the new booking.
Can we get some feedback to see if this thread had been looked at by the aXcelerate team, and if there is something in the works for transferring assessments enrolments?

Indeed, it is possible to transfer students but as indicated above it requires an onerous process that is overwhelming at times. Hence it's easy to make mistakes. I can do it but wish it were easier.
An additional aspect to this is some of our transfers have involved students in progress moving to a new version of a qual and hence they have completed some assessments in the old intake for units that didnt change. I manage to solve the issues around transferring their assessments, but I lose all the settings for their Learner Plan - ie which units were open or locked. This presents an issue if they are fee for service and havent paid for units and hence why they were locked in the old intake.
