The multi-short answer type has the potential to create forms etc but needs the ability to:

Adjust size of response area

Ability to change text size and text colour of response area

Ability of response area to resize to the size of a table cell

  I very much agree with this.

   

  An additional feature that would very much help when using the short answer field to create forms - is the option that a student doesn't need to give an answer for that field. When filling in a form - we are assessing the student on completing the form rather than what the answer is in each field on the form. We have to tell students to write "NA" in a field if it's not relevant but it would be good if they could just not put in a response and they could still submit.

  For example, if a form is a take 5 / simple risk assessment - there will be some items that are not relevant depending on the task (e.g., if the student does the risk assessment inside an office, the wind direction field doesn't need a response).
