Qualification Rules Ignored for Inactive Units
We have encountered an issue where a core unit for a qualification got superseded, therefore we marked it as inactive. This led us to discover when issuing a full certificate that the rules do not validate when a unit of competency is inactive (this led us to issuing a non-compliant certificate).
Is there a reason that the certificate process will not validate against units that are still against the qualification but marked as inactive, as if not, this seems to be a large compliance issue.
Even if the system allowed us to say there are x core units so the qualification issuing page could identify x core units had not been enrolled against the student.

We'd like to follow the progress on this, it is definitely a concern if units that are marked as inactive are not indicated somehow on a students enrolment.
It would be good if there was some kind of warning if you attempt to make a unit inactive but there are active enrolments in that unit.
We have a qualification that recently also had a core unit superseded and need to add the new details to the system but the issue is that we are still in the process of a teach-out for some students so we need to keep the old release version of the qualification, but I can't add the new one as it will only let me add it if I put a stream name, this qualification already has stream names so I can't really add "release 3" in the stream name, also we have Stream Names appear on our Certs so that doesn't work either.
This whole area might need to be reviewed.
