Oh yes definitely! We only just started using the system so had not discovered this was not there yet.

Also having the students make a signed declaration that the submission is their own work this should definitely be included as there is currently nothing that I can see that covers this.

Start and end dates should be included in the assessment cover sheet too.

This is critical for compliance for government-funded enrolments.

    Hi Phillippa

What I have done re: the signed declaration, is add it as an assessment quiz. The question is the blurb about how the work is their own and you only have one answer, which is "Yes, the above paragraph is correct" or "Yes, I agree with the above declaration"...you get my drift. That way, you know it is from them as they are the only one that has access to their learner portal.

    Hope that helps.

Hi Karen, cool, thank you for sharing that tip with me, much appreciated!! I will try this in the meantime.

I think ASQA or DESBT would probably want to see a student signature though but that could be something that aXcelerate can work on.

    Hi Phillipa and Karen,

Just a quick update to let you know that we have the Student Declarations coming very soon.

Designs are done and some development has already commenced.

    Kind regards,
    Rod.

Bit late to the party here but is the Student Declarations facility available now ?  If so, where do I locate it ?

Hi Damian, the Student declaration gets controlled at the Assessment Type level.

So go to Assessment Type, click edit and turn it on here and add your text.

Thanks Pip.  As per Murphys Law I found this out myself after I posted the question :)
