Hi Stuart, is this for courses (aka classes) or are you referring to workshops? If it is for courses/classes, how are you currently recording the maximum number of attendees? I didn't think courses/classes had the ability to do this.

    Hey Calvin,

I believe it's for workshops.  We are able to set up min/max numbers in the workshop set up type, and then axcelerate records the number of enrolments against the min/ max numbers.

Our call centre team have asked if a "number of spaces available" display field can be added to the table of results when you search for a course.  It will help them to see at a quick glance how many spots are available on a course at a given location/date/venue etc without having to actually click into the course to view the available places.

    Hope this helps explain.

    cheers

That would be very helpful, I'd never thought of that before.

I have trained our staff to use their calendars for this with a pre-set view showing student numbers, this is especially helpful for our grouped workshops where we really need a maximum for the full group, rather than the individual components. Like combined First Aid and CPR, you wouldn't want to limit First Aid students just to have empty spots available on CPR workshop.

This doesn't help when they need to see a range of dates thought rather than having to flick through the weeks on the calendar trying to find all the dates for a type of workshop.

I also think it would be helpful to be able to search location with workshop type filter, at the moment it is just location with domain filter which isn't hugely helpful because most of our domains are in different locations anyway.
