    Hi Leeanne

It is intentional that both Organisations are displaying. The functionality on this page is to display the Organisation at the time of Booking, rather than the current Organisation, as this may affect corporate bookings/clients.

The information bubble you are hovering over in your second screenshot is there to allow transparency of all available information.

    Hopefully this makes sense.
    Kind Regards
    Mark

Hi Mark, could there be a way to accept the current organisation as the default rather than leaving it as the organisation at time of booking because we are finding this frustrating to.

    Hi Leeanne & Helen

This is a change that would affect all of our users. For every client that would welcome the change, there would likely be another that would dislike it.

Do you have any suggestions on how we could improve the visibility of the available information without detracting from other parts of it?

    HI Mark

it seems to me that making the current organisation default is logical and accurate.

I can't think of  a reason that other axcelerate users need to see the previous company over the current one? they can hover or go the contact page to see old information.

    Hi Olivia,

I've struggled with this in the past and wasn't really able figure out a suitable workaround. Part of the issue I believe is due to the privacy issues related to the client portal. I'll try my best to explain this portion:

    1. A student is employed by Fortescue Metals Group and completes a series of courses with that organisation.
    2. The same student then obtains a new job with Cleanway Pty Ltd and their organisation is updated in aXcelerate accordingly
    3. Whilst employed with Cleanway the student is enrolled in a new course
    4. If a company representative from Cleanway Pty Ltd is provided client portal access the intent is that they will be able to see the enrolment at step 3 but won't be able to see any of the students previous course history whilst employed by Fortescue Metals Group. Likewise, the rep from Fortescue Metals Group won't be able to see any ongoing training that is completed whilst the student is employed by Cleanway.

The problem with this, and perhaps what might have occured in the OP's example, is that you must change the organisation before enrolling the student. If not, step 4 doesn't work the way it was intended.

This is probably why the organisation listed at the time of enrolment is visible by default, rather than the current organisation. Without this, how would you know who has visibility over what?

Even though I understand the purpose and the privacy issues it's definitely caused quite a few issues for us - particularly because using the axcelerate wordpress enrolment widget increased the frequency of a student being enrolled into a course prior to the organisation being updated.

I wasn't smart enough to think of a better alternative that might satisfy the privacy issues and make our jobs easier. Our only workaround was to not use the client portal and put up with the display issues for our admin users.

That's my understanding at least. Hopefully it provides a bit more background info and perhaps you might be able to suggest some possible solutions.
