Learner Engagement Survey
CompletedI am finding it very difficult to analyse data from the LE Survey. A data export function (eg to Excel) would be very useful.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions.
Clients can now use the new Survey Response Answer Report to export and analyse collected survey data. This report can be found and customised within the Report Builder.Comment actions -
The changed LE/ES survey data reporting has resulted in limited information and now means we are unable to meet this standard and RTO requirement: b) systematically evaluates and uses the outcomes of the evaluations to continually improve the RTO’s training and assessment strategies and practices. Evaluation information includes but is not limited to quality/performance indicator data collected under Clause 7.5, validation outcomes, client, trainer and assessor feedback and complaints and appeals.
The chart based data means can only view data on the PC screen, only see the number of responses per question, no percentiles are displayed, no export function exists for the RTO to transpose the data to another format for analysis or comparison to other years, and scaled areas no longer exist as per the registering body report structure where questions are grouped together into areas, such as Trainer competence, resources etc, etc.
The previous reporting format did at least allow RTOs to meet the standard and evaluate outcomes of our QI surveying. The current format only captures the number of responses to each individual question and changes it to a chart format. Suggest improvements be made to the following:
Add percentiles as well as actual numbers to each question responses.
Add an export function to report the results. (Most RTOs report this feedback data within their RTO for evaluation and analysis but current format means an individual has to scroll through responses and results on a screen which doesn't have much value).
Re-introduce the scaled areas for like questions to be grouped together making it a more meaningful exercise and easier to actually evaluate the feedback data.
