    Hi All,

Our new integration with TurnItIn will go live with our latest release which you can check out the release notes for here.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi Srikant,

Thanks for your suggestion! Building native support for plagiarism checks would be a massive project, and would significantly distract our development efforts from aXcelerate's core product.

Your suggestion for an integration with Turnitin, however, is something that we would definitely consider if this idea gets more support in the community!

I think integration with existing plagiarism tools has merit

We also need integration with an existing plagiarism platform. We use Ouriginal (formerly Urkund).

Turnitin integration would be helpful, with more and more online with the learning plan feature, this would save a lot of time and risk

For Ouriginal (formerly Urkund) all that is needed is that on submission of uploaded docs, then all submissions are forwarded to a set email address.

We are finding our regulators are increasingly questioning our ability to monitor Academic Integrity without an IT solution such as TurnItIn. With aXcelerate doing so much to develop their LMS capability, an integration with TurnItIn would make the LMS an even more attractive offering to new clients (and existing clients not using TURBO).

Yes please look into anti-plagiarism options. Turnitin would be a useful feature. Another user suggested being able to apply settings to a short answer field to prevent students from providing copy/paste responses. This should force them to type the answer manually rather than blindly copy pasting responses.
