I agree that Units should definitely be shown as part of the verification.

Most often a verification is used for credit transfer purposes so you want to make sure that the units shown are valid and correct.

I agree that units should be shown as part of the Verification!!! Contact aXcelerate only be told I have to post on the idea forum and get enough popularity then they will consider to add this feature.

    Hi All,

Thank you greatly for your feedback.

As a result of your feedback, our next release on the evening of November 18th will include the following improvements:

    • Surname will now optional when validating a certificate. Only a certificate number/id is mandatory.
    • We have added the type of award (Statement of Attainment or Qualification) to the validation page
    • We have added the qualification code to the Award section when the award is a full qualification
    • We will now list all units of competency achieved for both SoA and full qualifications.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers,
    Rod.

I realise that it is not November 18th yet (at time of writing), so hopefully the release scheduled for next week will address these issues, but a quick test in the staging environment showed that the units listed on a SOA included units that the student did NOT pass.

My test student was issued a SOA after withdrawing from her course part of the way through. She passed a number of units and withdrew from the rest. However the validation page showed all units, including those flagged as W (withdrawn).

Second, can the units listed on the validation page be ordered alphabetically by unit code?

    Thank you

Another test, still in staging, showed that the validation page displayed units that were marked as CNA/ FAIL in Axcelerate, as well as those that were passed.

    Hi Michael,

As you've pointed out the new work is still going through our QA/testing cycle prior to release. The production release will only display competent units.

    Cheers,
    Rod.
