staff notifications displayed on the dashboard

I would love to use the dashboard as a notifications board for users/staff. e.g. if we had a particular announcement that needed to be made etc then these notices could be displayed on the dashboard. Would make for really easy communication to all of our staff. A pop-up that displayed all new notifications since the user's last login would also be another option that would work well

  Has anything been done with this idea. would be a great way of communicating with staff on certain topics especially with people working remotely

  Yes please. I have asked for this before.

  Like an announcement board on the dashboard that doesn't involve any complicated Events data.

  Keep it simple.

  Yes please. This is really needed rather than sending so many emails to the 350 teacher trainers we have in the RTO.
