Agreed, however the list must match the postcode list used by NCVER otherwise there are errors when reporting.

It would also be very useful to include some error checking on the postcodes - ie. Suburb and Postcode do not match. This could either be a warning on the contact page and/or identified as a warning when running the AVETMISS report.

I noticed an interesting update in the NCVER AVS classification update notice on 18 March, stating "Please note that we can no longer provide a postcode system file due to licensing obligations. In order to view current postcodes please visit the Australia Post website."

This could make it a bit more difficult to match NCVER!

In that case, if you can keep aXcelerate up-to-date with the latest postcodes from Australia Post (and add the error checking to pick up the typo's) we can address any postcode issues with NCVER rather than aXcelerate.

We'd be very keen on seeing the some improvements with the address fields.

In particular, we'd love to see the address fields upgraded into an autocomplete field. Here's an example of an address lookup with autocomplete https://addressfinder.com.au/

Autocomplete fields currently exists in the axcelerate admin portal for the suburb and postcode only but we'd love to see this include all aspects of the address as per the example above and to be added to the admin portal, learner portal and enrolment widget.

We regularly have address errors due to students making keystroke errors or genuinely not remembering their postcode at the time of enrolment.

    Hi Calvin,

We can implement an address lookup (Google Places API) into your online enrolments form, however, you will need to create your own Google Places API account and provide us with the key. There is a cost associated on Google's end for a certain number of request, although it's unlikely you will reach that amount. Please let me know if you would like further information.

Yesterday I discussed having an address lookup within aXcelerate with our Product Manager. It's on our list to discuss again during our next meeting. It's definitely an area that would help many clients.

    I will keep you updated.

    Kind regards,
    Rod.

    Hi Rod,

Sounds great. If there's more information to share regarding the Google Place API let me know and i'll get that sorted on my end.

    Thanks
