It would be very useful if we could archive or deactivate templates. Currently the only option is to delete them.

We have a lot of templates, many of them could be archived as they have served their purpose. It would make the list more manageable and selection of the correct template a lot easier.

I do not want to delete them as there was a lot of work put in to create them, if we decide to use them again later or copy their design for another template it would be good if we didn't have to re-create them.

  Thank you for the suggestion. As you may have noticed, this feature has now been implemented in aXcelerate.

  I strongly support this idea - I was going to enter this myself and discovered Mark had already suggested it.
