    Hi All,

As part of our latest release, we have updated the process for creating Contact Notes, allowing you to upload up to three files, with support for both upload and drag-and-drop methods.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Hi Melanie, I've found merging the documents into a single pdf the best way to resolve this for me.  Not sure if it will work for you though! :-)

Drag and Drop attachments in contact notes

This has been raised before. Yes you can combine multiple files, but at a time/$ cost. We are looking for efficiencies.

we use the portfolio rather than notes. you can add as many as you like under headings you can create.

but yes, agreed, multiple files on one note would be exceptionally useful.

We are also using portfolio but drag and drop in notes with multiple options can save a lot of time and easy to use for freshers.

    Thanks

This function would be great to assist capturing details in our contact notes against students, especially if screenshots of messages need to be uploaded or multiple emails as supporting evidence, that has not been issued via aXc. Even the student responses back from emails/SMS issued through aXc could then be captured more efficiently.

The new drag and drop upload method is great, but it's disappointing that we are now limited to 3 files per contact note, where we could previously upload more (before the recent update). This seems like a step backwards. Is there any chance this could be reverted to allow more than 3 documents in a single contact note?

This update has caused quite a bit of trouble for our organisation. It removed or changed a number of essential items from the old contact notes including:

    • The email to filter used to be limited to aXcelerate admin users. It now searches the whole aXcelerate database. A bit of a nightmare if you accidentally email the note to an unintended recipient
    • Can no longer add follow up tasks to the note
    • It no longer records who the note was forwarded to

Definitely a step backwards but hoping for a quick fix, or a return of the previous note functionality until the new note functionality can be improved.

I agree with Calvin that the new format for the notes is causing MASSIVE issues for us:

    • Can no longer add follow up tasks to the note
    • It no longer records who the note was forwarded to
    • Cant attach more than 3 files
    • The email to filter used to be limited to aXcelerate admin users. It now searches the whole aXcelerate database. A bit of a nightmare if you accidentally email the note to an unintended recipient

Definitely a step backwards but hoping for a quick fix, or a return of the previous note functionality until the new note functionality can be improved.
