The ability to record a USI exemption for international students studying offshore (INTOFF) is now available in aXcelerate. Currently, exemption codes must be applied manually against a contact record.

Agreed, having to change the RTO/VET settings to issue overseas certificates is definitely ideal, it has a huge potential to lead to errors if settings are not changed back before someone else using the system goes to issue a certificate.

This does not work... it then causes an error with NCVER saying "Invalid format for Unique Student Identifier (INTOFF)"

Hi Steve, as per our Upcoming AVETMISS 2017 Changes article, this code (INTOFF) is not required until 2018, however, can be used from 2017. When reporting 2017 data, the NCVER validation tool should accept this code.
