New Reports Needed - Improvements on Category Selection and Exclusion
AnsweredAs our database is growing - and is a normal function on most CRM systems - we need the function to create a contact list, that's downloadable. Which allows us to select any number of categories and exclude any number of others to ensure that we are not marketing our courses to people who have already completed a course.
Marketing is making sure we communicate effectively and send the right message to the right prospect or student.
Currently I can only do this manually by running 2 reports and just wasted half a day when a report would do it in seconds.
Please take a look at this function for us, this will be more and more crucial as we use your system more and more.

Hi Sarita,
The "Contact Details" report under our "NEW Report Builder" allows you to get a list of contacts that include or do not include a list of categories (be sure to run the "Warehoused" version of this report in order to access the category filter). This data can then be downloaded as a CSV or Excel file. If there are any additional filters that you feel would be helpful for this report, we welcome any further suggestions.

If we could filter down more when using merge documents - that would be awesome..
To ensure I am marketing correctly, I have to create a report, download the report, send the marketing email through another mail system and then go back into aXcelerate to edit the unsubscribers and this also doesn't leave a note of the email I have just sent.
Would be great if I could do it all from aXcelerate.

The NEW Report Builder allows you to pick either to include or exclude certain contact categories but there is no option to include certain categories and exclude others.
Such as include 'course type' - First Aid
Include 'Postcode' Range - 4000 - 4500
Exclude Category tag - Do not contact'
At the moment to be completely certain we are not sending any Merge Documents or other system marketing to contacts who have selected not to receive marketing we have to remove their email address from aXcelerate which causes issues when we need to send them correspondence which is not marketing.
Is there going to be any improvements to the Mail merge selection options or the report builder to assist with this?
At the moment it is causing issues regarding marketing and wasting a lot of time having to manually compare lists.
