    Hi James,
It should be possible to add this kind of functionality into aXcelerate, however dealing with encryption and digital certificates can be quite tricky, so this is likely not a small job. For the benefit of other clients, the /contact/enrolment/verifyCertificate/ API endpoint can be used to verify the authenticity of an issued certificate against the data that is held in aXcelerate.

    Hi Jade,

Just wondering whether there has been any movement in this area. The issue has been raised with us about making the pdf generated certificates more secure.

    Thanks,

Hi Helen, while we have done some investigation into this area in the past, this improvement has not yet made it onto our development roadmap. We will continue to monitor feedback from the community on this.

    Afternoon,

I am just wondering if there has been any progress with regards to this. It is a very important issue which is being overlooked. It is extremely important that the certificates being generated and sent from aXcelerate are secure so that they comply with regulatory requirements.

anyone with adobe pro can manipulate certificates very easily. As an RTO we go the extra mile to ensure authenticity but I really doubt that any businesses understand that a "JP witnesses" certificate means absolutely nothing. Combining the new QR code with a properly secured certificate will greatly improve the overall integrity of VET issued certificates and training
