"today" button

Whenever the calendar feature appears and you need to click into it to choose the date, it would be great if there was a today button that we could click to have today's date autofill. This would be particularly helpful for result entry as often the date that's already there is several months away and it takes several clicks to get the date back to today when a today button would make it happen in one step.
