Reallocation of workshop tasks
AnsweredWe recently had a change of staff. When the system access for the staff member leaving us was deactivated all workshop tasks reverted to the course/workshop creator - me. The new staff member is now responsible for almost all those tasks. Reallocating in the Task Master List does not cascade through those courses/workshops already created and, as we have created our courses for the entire calendar year, reallocating course-by-course is a monumental job. Changing job roles of existing staff creates the same problem.
I think it would be a good idea that the 'Override defaults' button cascades the new selection throughout all tasks.

Hi Deirdre,
Sorry to hear that you have been having some difficulty with workshop task allocation. When you deactivate a user from the System Users page you will then be given an option to reallocate any workshop tasks that were set to the now deactivated user, to a new user.
You can also use the Override Defaults button on the tasks master list to clear any defaults relating to a specific workshop type. This means that the Task Owner on the master list should now be used.Hopefully this helps.
