SCORM to be mobile friendly
Can we please have the system for SCORM packages reviewed and updated.
Students attemtping to complete SCORM eLearning modules via a mobile device (phone or tablet) have major issues with completions being recorded.
In this day and age when everything is moving mobile (including many parts of the axcelerate system), I find it bizarre that we cannot serve up shport eLearning modules effectively via mobile.
This is a major flaw in the system.
Example, we work with apprentice chefs, they can use the trauining record book via the app and we encourage them to complete journal entries, but, they cannot complete eLearning via the app, they need to then go to a computer and complete eLearning.
We design all our SCORM packages to be mobile friendly and fully responsive regardless of the device used.
Please, Please, PLEASE update this feature as a high priority!

Hi James,
Voting this comment up. We also experience issues with SCORM completions not registering in aXcelerate LMS, and even students losing their progress and having to re-do parts of, or all of the content.
Whilst we haven't pinpointed the use of mobile devices as a cause, it has been very difficult to ascertain any patterns with regards to what might be causing the lost progress / completions not registering. (We have even gone as far as keeping a list of which internet browser students are launching from when issues occur, and also including specific instructions about performing software updates etc in our course information before students launch - a necessary mitigation step but alas detracting from the overall learning experience!).
Agree with your comments that mobile is increasingly at the forefront of training activities and communications - so would love to see any insights or improvements aXcelerate can offer in the SCORM space.
Good shout.
