SMS User Permission

We have long wanted to activate the SMS functionality, however there is currently no way to manage the cost of our partners utilisation.

As a partial solution, could you please add a user permission for sending SMS messages and templates, as you already have for 'Send Agreements'?

Currently if we were to turn this on then all our partners would gain access to send SMS and we would have no way of predicting the cost.

With a user permission we could turn this on for a set of standard automated messages which we could calculate the cost of per learner, without granting access for users to send ad-hoc SMS.

I'm sure this would have benefits for other organisations as well.
