Reminders for events

It would be great if there could be a reminder function set for events - similar to the reminder option in Outlook.

  That would be great to have!!!

  Outlook sends you a reminder so you don't forget that you have that event for the day. 

  It would be great if aXcelerate also has this function, as we are no longer using Outlook to book events/Meetings any more.

  With aXcelerate, you have to check your calendar to see what is happening either the at the end of the day (for the next day) or first thing in the morning.

  Hi Lisa, one feature that could be useful that you might not be using at the moment is the "Upcoming Events" widget that can be added to your customisable dashboard. This will display all of your events for the next fortnight every time you log in to aXcelerate.

  Hi Jade,

  Yes I do have that on my dashboard, but I also have other screens open and don't always have the time to flick between screens to check my dashboard. 

  It would be great to have a notification flash up on screen like it does with Outlook.

  Hi Jade - I use the "Upcoming Events" widget, however I'm not sitting in front of my laptop all day. So a reminder delivered via email would be very useful, especially when I'm out of the office. It's a feature of most of the organising/scheduling/calendaring systems we use, so you sort of expect it.

  Hi,

  I know this string was a long time ago but this is a function that a lot of our trainers are requesting.

  This would be extremely helpful for our workplace based trainers to send alerts to emails or mobile numbers.
