Calendar Filters/Views - When refreshing page can the calendar remain on the current view settings

Currently when you refresh the calendar page it automatically reverts back to your default view and the current day/week/month. It would be good to be able to refresh the page and have it remain on the date you were previously looking at and view filters. 

For example if I was looking at the trainers calendar in 3 months time, if I make any changes to who was scheduled onto a course then I would need to refresh the calendar and and then search back to that date and view filter to confirm it. 

This suggestion probably isn't as relevant for all RTO's but it would be very useful for any who offer a variety of short courses and require flexible timetabling of classrooms and trainers/contractors.

  This is an awesome idea! would save less 'clicks' having to continually go back

  Helen - Some of our staff members have realized since posting this suggestion that if you select the specific date from below the calendar icon, when you refresh the page it will continue to refresh to the date you selected. I just wanted to pass it on in case it that would be helpful to you as well!

  Thanks Tahni, it will go back to the date but it defaults back to the default saved view, so it I am currently looking at a week view on one trainer and then refresh it will go back to my default month view for state rather than the trainer I was just looking at.

  Totally agree!!! When I am scheduling courses this does my head in every time!!!

  If you could create more than one default i.e. I look after QLD and NT trainers but cannot have them on the same page. I have each state in a tab but when I refresh, it reverts to the top calendar view (QLD for me)

  I know this is an old post but I believe it's still relevant today! The calendar is low at the best of times but having to change views, dates etc each time a change is made or a date is clicked is not beneficial.
