'Drag and drop' function in calendar - either ability to turn off or confirmation of date/time change

I would like to make a suggestion that the 'drag and drop' function in the calendar has the potential to either be turned off or to require a confirmation of the change. 

It can be really useful when trying to move meetings or booked assets to a different day but I have found myself accidentally dragging events/courses without realising it. This could cause a serious issue if someone was to do this by accident and we were to end up with a double booking. 

It would be great if a little pop-up was displayed when an event/course was moved just asking the person to confirm the change with a yes or no. This would remove the risk of someone moving something by accident but would still keep the fast workflow.
