Learner Onboarding (2025) to include LLN Test Capability
Hi aXc Team & Mark,
Like every other RTO, we are extremely excited about the Learner Onboarding feature coming in 2025.
Mark explained at aXcelerate Day how RTO's will be able to toggle on/off which questions the RTO would like answered throughout onboarding.
Current Process:
We have created an LLN Quiz for each course that we offer. Students are required to complete the LLN test before they gain access to the rest of their assessments. However, being a CPR/First Aid training company, students can book up to three courses on the same day, meaning they would have to sit through three LLN tests.
Suggestion:
It would be amazing if there were a section at the very end of learner onboarding where the RTO could include an optional assessment type. For us, it would be an Online Quiz, which we would use to assess students' LLN, meaning they only complete 1 LLN quiz even if they have booked into multiple courses.
Thanks for reading.

Potentially not possible.
But even the option to have different LLN tests for different levels/courses that can be recognised similarly to CTs. So the students do not have to redo it if they have already completed a test at that level. The majority of our students are repeats, so it would be great if they did two courses of the same level that they did in one LLN test. But when they complete a higher AQF level course, it would recognise the need for the test again.

The Onboarding Form build features are currently very basic - we've not found a way to use the form itself for LLN purposes.
We continue to have the exact same issue as Matthew first outlined. We can build an LLN as a quiz item against each course... but we've found no way to prevent repetition of that LLN when the student has booked for multiple courses at the same time.
Super keen to hear if anyone else has found a solution! -
Hi Elizabeth! We have built in a section into our onboarding form to ask questions to review LLN levels. We have then set a workflow to trigger each class list into an email with these fields highlighted if the student selects them (we have selected others flags too such as disability flags).
