Indeed, the Print option - hence save to PDF isn't ideal due to formatting etc. Would be nice if the printing options could be improved particularly with formatting. We have to send out to third party formatter to get them as we need.

True, that could also be a good, quicker alternative - a change to the print mode styling so all the questions are expanded and responses highlighted / underlined (in case of B&W printing and accessibility concerns re: colour contrast).

One issue we have is that often the need for hardcopy assessments isnt planned or with much lead time. The formatting is an additional cost, so we use it on an as needs basis, but is often a bit stressful.
Fixing up printing would be great.

Agreed. While it is great that the ability to print is available, and we do it as a bit of a hack assessor guide, unfortunately the formatting/spillage means it's not practical to use these as paper based assessments.

Great idea, I've manually fixed the formatting on all of our assessments for participants that require hard copy however for future assessments, this would be a massive time saver!

Another Issue with printing is at the development stage (ie before anyone has been enrolled) I need to add an instance and enrol myself. This is a time waster too. Can we have the print function decoupled from the instances and enrolment section so we can print at development without enrollments AND print a student submission?
    Thx

That's a great idea, Martin.  I would think if we have logged in with the suitable permissions already that the function would not need coupling to an enrolment instance on top of that.  It would be nice, at least.
