Relationships for contacts
CompletedWe would love to see more information for Relationships in a contact profile to be included by default.
We have a large amount of students who are still in School (Year 11 & 12) and have multiple relationships linked to these students.
We would like to see the ability to add multiple relationships (Mother, Father, Carer, Primary Caregiver, Vet Co-ordinator) to students. The current emergency contact section doesn't cut it at the moment as it is extremely limited, with only space for 1 contact.
We are currently using the alternate email address to drop in a parent contact for reports etc - but this field is stand alone. We can't even find a parent name without a custom field.
We would also like to see these relationships built into the template/communication system.
For example we need to email a student progress report to the student, parent if under 18 & VET co-orinator each term, which becomes time consuming without these features in place :)

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your feedback!
I'm pleased to announce that this will be addressed in our next release, occurring tomorrow night.
An additional section for Parent/Guardian has been introduced within the contact profile page. This can be prefilled by searching for and selecting an existing contact or entered manually to create a contact. This addition also means a Parent/Guardian field can be included within Agreements, templates and Contact Details - Warehoused report.Comment actions -
We are new to Axcelerate and this is becoming more of an issue on our end! We often need to send correspondence/templates to Students, a Parent & a VET-cordinator all at once. The current option of an alternate email is extremely limiting.
This is affecting our workflow as our previous VET software was able to email through to multiple contacts and we are now at a loss on making this happen. -
Hi Madi -
Thanks for the feedback! We were hoping to avoid adding a brand new contact through this process, but we're giving it a try. At the moment we cannot see a way to add the parent when sending an email template through a profile or class - could you please let us know if we need to enable anything to see this?
