Duplicate email Report for contacts

The same email address can be entered for two different contacts. I can see the need for this where several members of a household use the same email address.

Is there a report that lists any contacts that have the same email address?

Or can there be a validation when entering a contact that when there is a duplicate detected that they are asked to enter a unique address?

  Hi Heidi, I may be understanding incorrectly, but when you're adding an email to a new contact, if the systems identifies another contact with the email, you should get a box appear at the top of the screen saying there are duplicates.
