Previous Last Name on the contact details of a student for funding requirements

As part of our Funding in QLD we need to collect a students "previous Last name" however there isn't anywhere for this field to go even if we add it to the enrolment form. 

It would be great it this could be added into the contact details on a student.

  This isn't for reporting but just for running an AISS check, correct?

  Perhaps you can add a custom field to the contact profile area so you can record it.
