Work Based Learning Supervisor Sign Off Setting

The new feature you have activated to allow supervisors to sign off on the learners app is great... however we have a lot of supervisors who all operate differently. Some were using the supervisor app, some preferred to sign off on the learners app. Now that we have activated the sign off feature it has meant that the supervisors who were using the app no longer get notified of the shifts the students have submitted or can approve it on their app. I thought that adding this feature would make the system more versatile, however it has removed one of the primary functions we need.

I would like to be able to use both features simultaneously, not either or.

  Thanks for your feedback.

  There is a fine line we have to balance between allowing flexibility and minimising Learner error.

  That said, we'll look at seeing whether we can adjust this behaviour so that Learners can either allow Supervisors to sign on their device, or send it to their supervisor for signing within the app.
