Bulk-Enrol Participants - improve duplicate functionality

There are improvements to be had with the duplicate identification function in aXcelerate's bulk-enrol tool for courses.
Issue #1
We have a few examples where 2 or more fields are identical, but because they are not imperical values - aXcelerate is not identifying them as genuine duplicates. Example:
Stuart Johnston - XYZ Company - sjohnston@xyc.com; and
Stu Johnston - XYZ Company - sjohnston@xyc.com
The above records would not be identified by aXcelerate as genuine duplicates because 'first name' is not identical - even though its obvious based on other fields that they are, indeed, genuine duplicate records.
We have also had examples of this tool being case sensitive - so:
Stuart JOHNSTON and Stuart Johnston would not be picked up as a genuine duplicate.
Issue #2
Another issue is that once you submit the bulk-enrol spreadsheet - there is no immediate notification that duplicate contacts have been identified or created by aXcelerate. This means that if you don't outwardly go to the 'Merge Duplicates' tool in aXcelerate to check if duplicates were created - you don't know. The result is that you end up with hundreds or even thousands of duplicates in the system and its difficult to resource to merge them. Whereas - if a notification occurred at the point of creation, staff could merge a handful of records immediately.
SUGGESTIONS.
- I propose that the 'Determine Duplicate' tool in the bulk-upload screen is expanded with more options to identify potential duplicate (i.e. add 'Surname, Email and Organisation').
- Implement an immediate duplication notification which appears as soon as the bulk-enrol is submitted, so the person who has bulk-enrolled can deal with any duplicates there and then. This would have a direct impact on the experience of the student too!
