Duplicate contacts from Online Enrolments
Is there a way for the system to stop making duplicate contacts every time someone re-registers or re-enters the enrolment form to upload something new. It keeps causing errors as they can make more duplicate contacts after we’ve processed, merged and fixed their contacts already. If we create a user account for them, then send them the enrolment link would it fix this issue or are the user accounts just linked to the LMS?

Hi Aster, we can potentially configure the Online Enrolment Form so it detects certain parameters belonging to an existing Contact, such as an email address. Please submit a Support ticket through Help > Help & Support Centre so our team can look into your existing configuration and propose any possible improvements.

I agree the duplicate function needs to be looked at:
- Would be good if the in-house spreadsheet upload function could be strengthened with regards to identifying and eliminating duplicates. Every time we use this function - it seems to create duplicate records!
- In general - genuine duplicates don't seem to be being picked up by aXcelerate in many cases (i.e. all fields are the same except one where the suburb [for example] is in upper case for one record and lower for the next.
