Allow Workshop Tasks / Workflows to be paused at an instance level without having to pause the entire workflow

It would be great if we could pause/cancel a workflow at a workshop task level.

Example below:

 

Sometimes we might need to cancel a workshop but because we have booked students that we need to move before the system will let us mark it as cancelled we can't always get this done before the SMS or email reminders to students is due to go out. 

So to be able to pause any workflows like this at a workshop level would help ensure the communications going to students are not confusing to them, currently the only way to guarantee they don't get the communication would be to pause it at the workflow level but this would mean it is paused for all workshops which means other workshops that are still running will miss out on the reminders we want to be sent to them.
