Default unit end date to the current date when marking as competent if the end date is set to a future date

Quite often our trainers forget to add the activity end dates on units when manually changing the status because they are used to it happening automatically for them most of the time with online assessments.

When this happens the activity end date doesn't change, so it ends up being a future date and causing an error.

It would be amazing if the system could detect if a unit end date is in the future when competency is being awarded and for the system to know this would not be correct and to automatically apply the current date to that unit(s).
