Add invoice number on "add to existing invoice"

For inhouse nested courses with one consolidated invoice for all the courses, you have to "add to existing invoice" but only has "invoice date, price, and attention to" details to see which one is the correct one. Could "invoice number" be added to it? It is difficult to ascertain exactly which invoice to add the charge to.
