When the system applies CT status that it also updates the unit start and end date to be the day the CT is being applied
We often get errors in NCVER (not picked up in aXcelerate AVETMISS reports) that we have the same student doing the same unit with overlapping unit dates.
This will often occur on enrolments where aXcelerate has been used to automatically apply the CT status on a unit. When the unit Start and End dates are not correctly updated it can lead to an error if it overlaps with the dates of the other enrolment.
I think it would be very helpful for us if the start date of the unit being marked as CT by the system could also have the start date changed during this action to remove the overlap.
I understand this might not suit every state reporting requirements or RTO but since it is the national requirement I believe it should apply to some and therefore should be a setting that can be turned on or off to suit the RTOs that would benefit from it.

It would also be really helpful if aXcelerate AVETMISS reports could show this error or the system could also give warnings to prompt users to adjust data before it gets to the NCVER reporting dates.
