We are currently setting up our assessments and lesson plans and noticed we can't have more than 1 type of assessment per question.

For example we can ONLY select a file upload OR a short answer etc as the type.

In our current system we are able to have it set up to say 'please upload document "abc" and answer the 3 questions below.' which the learner is able to do both in the one place.

To set something like this up in AX we will need to split the question to ensure they are both uploading the document AND answering the question. Which means it is not all sitting together in the one place.

I am aware we can ask them to provide the answer in the optional field within the upload file section but this does not force the learner to answer this and both the learner and assessor can easily miss this.

 

Can this please be looked at so we have more functionality and flexibility around this and possibly an option to switch a question/type between required and optional?

  Fully support this suggestion!.  Also to go a step further, when you create a lesson you are restricted to be able to add something such as a file upload question.  We need to be able to mix and match for greater interoperability.
