Limit file types for file upload questions
It would be great if we could limit the file types that can be uploaded as a response to a File Upload question. I really want my students to only be able to upload file types that I know my assessors can open.

I agree with Sarah, this would be helpful. At present we are having to go back to students and tell them to re-upload in another format which is time consuming, and frustrating for both trainer and student. Writing the file types accepted within the question/activity is clunky and not always noticed.

Just wondering if there is any progress on this?
We teach a range of Creative Arts units and the ability to lock the filetype down is really important to make sure the student is uploading the final export and not an entire project file.
Limiting number of files uploaded per submission is important too. We had both of these features in our previous LMS and they were heavily used.

We have had a number of issues with emails and calendar invites (.msg files) creating issues for assessors. Either they are unable to open them due to compatibility issues, or they sync up with and corrupt their computers creating costly repairs. It would be great if these file types were not able to be uploaded for evidence documents.
