Option to Lock Contact Profile
It would be useful if we could apply a lock to a contact profile which prevents new enrolments, certificates being issued, etc. without approval from a specific administrator. There are various cases for this, some of the common ones would be:
- Locking profiles of students who have outstanding payments
- Locking profiles of students with ongoing disciplinary issues
- Locking profiles of students who repeatedly enrol but never show up
- Locking profiles of staff to ensure there is no conflict of interest when they are enrolled into a course or issued a certificate by the RTO that is employing them
One of the less common cases but definitely applicable to us is where we flag people with identified disqualifying criminal histories or mental health conditions, there needs to be preventative measures from allowing them to attend security or firearms courses.
We can add the notes and banner/popups to the profile and train the staff, but those administrative measures do not actually prevent anyone with enrol/issue permissions from 'missing' the notes and putting the RTO at risk.

Following on from Mark's suggestion, we would like to see the ability to 'lock' a contact profile to prevent certain users from having their contact details accidently update/overwritten. This mainly applies to system admins contact profiles and other contact profiles setup for specific purposes to support workflow communication logs.
The ability to control this at an individual contact profile level would be most beneficial.
